In the desert, we are all small

My experiences observing the border crossing revealed to me the reasons why I wanted to take such a quiet, subtle route to address the issue in a creative manner.
I wanted to find a way to move beyond the crowds, the passionate rallies, the media's coverage, and move into the desert, where the private, daily struggles of migrants, and the agents chasing them, were happening. In the desert, we are vulnerable, and we are small.
